In my opinion the best foreign aid for Malawi is stimulating entrepreneurship, creating jobs and local production. So people have an income, are self sustainable and can take care for their family. Sakaramenta meets these demands:

• The bicycle carts stimulate entrepreneurship. People can become transporter or salesman just by buying a bicycle cart. They can sell transport goods to different places. Micro-credit is offered to buy a cart.
   
• Sakaramenta creates 20 direct jobs and many indirect jobs. We buy as much as possible locally, which creates local employment.  
   
• We produce all our carts in our factory in Blantyre Malawi. Our employees learn a lot by working, but also because of our sponsored school-programme. Every employee can choose his own education, which is 80% paid by Sakarmenta. We stop every day at 16:00 so the employee can go to their evening classes.
